The Beach: Enjoy Lincoln City's breathtaking 7 mile sand beach, whale watching, sand castle building, hunting for sea shells and glass floats, deep sea fishing, horseback riding on the beach, investigating tidepools, crabbing, windsurfing and kite flying.

The Neighborhood: Walk to nearby miniature golf & batting cages, internet cafes, coffee houses, gift shops and restaurants in the recently renovated Ocean Lake District. Explore Spring Lake and its hiking trails on 14th Street (just a three minute drive from the house).

The City: Visit numerous art galleries, antique stores, great restaurants, 4 golf courses, 6 screen theatre complex, and excellent shopping at the Oregon Coast's largest Factory Outlet Mall.

The Lakes: Discover Spring Lake and its hiking trails on NW 14th Street (just a short three minute drive from Ocean Rose Cottage) and D Lake, Lincoln City's scenic three mile long lake that offers boating, water skiing, fishing, bird watching and picnicking.

The Vicinity: Don't miss the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Newport Bay, hiking the Cascade Head Trail (just north of town) and McMinnville's Aviation Museum (home of the "Spruce Goose").
